This is a very theme specific paper bag/envelope album that I made for my son. I will be giving him this at his Arrow of Light ceremony next week ... he hasn't seen it yet!
Front cover hosts his council patch and a ribbon around the outer edge of the book because it's so full it doesn't close properly.
A journaling tag tucked in the envelope, the bottom is his whittling chip badge & the photo that is tucked in the pocket contains a knot that my son tied.
Another page of badges & another journaling tag
Photos attached to pages, a photo in the pocket with a photo on both sides...one side is his first Pinewood Derby, the other side is his last Pinewood Derby
The square piece on the left has journaling on it and gets tucked in the flap. The other side is more journaling and some cub scout stickers
This flip flap cascade will hold all of his rank badges (the others are still currently on his uniform)
A flip flap cascade of the cards that he received every time he achieved a new rank
His arrow points (achievements) that he earned as a Wolf are stapled on a paper & tucked in the pocket on the left. The right side has a camp patch tucked in the pocket
Photos, his arrow points from his Bear year and a photo tucked in the pocket with another knot that he tied
The yellow pocket has a message from me.
More flaps & envelopes
A horizontal cascade with some 4" x 4" photos
Flip flaps stacked one on top of the other
The photos on the right are a removable mini album that holds six 4" x 6" photos
Another cascading flip flap display (LOVE flip flaps for adding extra photos without the clutter)
The piece on the right is an envelope. Inside contains a handwritten message from his Den Leader who happens to be his Dad :)
Some extra 4" x 6" photos attached to the back page of the album
I have a class scheduled at The Houston House to teach people how to create their own paper bag album. For more details, visit www.marysvilleartleague.org
**I will have many flip flaps in a variety of sizes available at the "Embellishment Bar" at the classes.
Thanks for stopping by!
