These instructions were graciously provided by my friend Molli Marshall. She taught this class at a crop that I was a vendor/teacher at. It was such a fun album to make and I absolutely loved embellishing it and adding my own style to it. Thank you Molli for the wonderful instructions and the super fun class!!! You have created a mini file folder album making monster out of me!!!
**I hope you can read the instructions, I'll get the actual files from Molli and upload those. For now, I just took pictures of the instruction sheet.**
My front cover. I added a seam binding over the outer edge but it isn't necessary. I just wanted to cover up the edge where the file folders were all attached.
Small pocket tag from Hobby Lobby and the tag was just one from an office supply store cut down. There is a pocket in the top too!
You can see the back side of the tag that was photographed in the last picture. On this one, I added a picture my life card from the retired Jackson series and four 3"x3" flip flaps (attached using Jacob's ladder) to create the cascading flip flaps.
This page has a whole lot going on! A side pull out tag, a tiny tag in the envelope on the left, a top loading tab on the right, a tiny pocket accessory from Hobby Lobby and the bottom right is two mini cards (also from Hobby Lobby) attached to make a little flip book for journaling.
Last page has a large embellished tag in a slanted pocket and a side pull tag made using a large picture my life card that I trimmed down.
I had a BLAST making this album and will definitely be making others. After taking this class with Molli, I figured out a use for the middle manila file folders. I made them into a mini portfolio style tag book...but that will be for another day!
Happy scrapping & I'd love to see your completed mini albums!!!
